Delete Your Account and Data

Cell Surveys: Signal Heatmap, by Dwas Woot LLC

You can delete your Cell Surveys account, and the data associated with it, at any time. This applies to the Cell Surveys: Signal Heatmap app published by Dwas Woot LLC.

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Cell Surveys and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. On the map, tap the Settings (gear) button.
  3. Tap Delete account, then tap Delete to confirm.
  4. Confirm it is you: choose your Google account, or, if you sign in with an email address, enter your password.

Deletion starts right away. When it finishes you are signed out, and the account can no longer be used.

Option 2: Ask us by email

If you can no longer open the app, email [email protected] from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account and its data within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in record
  • Survey recordings you uploaded: cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth and operator readings, including readings recorded on parcels
  • Drives, trips, mileage logs and vehicle profiles
  • Saved places, place suggestions and county selections
  • Floor plans and their share links
  • Your settings, API keys and notification tokens
  • Fleet membership and the survey data you contributed to a fleet
  • Upload history and rate-limit records
  • When you delete in the app: this account's recordings on that phone

What is kept

  • Anonymized, aggregated coverage data, such as crowd-sourced coverage maps, that cannot identify you
  • Copies you saved outside Cell Surveys, such as surveys backed up to your own Google Drive or files you exported. You can delete these yourself.
  • Recordings stored on other devices where you used the app, until you delete the account there or uninstall the app
  • Information we are required to keep by law, only for as long as the law requires

Deleting some data without deleting your account

To delete specific data, such as your uploaded survey recordings, while keeping your account, email [email protected] from your account's email address and tell us what to remove. We handle these requests within 30 days.
